It's one of my favorites. I don't think it was just because the kid was cute that you liked it. The name is infrequent enough, and odd-shaped enough, to be striking, but ordinary enough to seem real and not take itself too seriously. Just the other day I saw a young guy working at the grocery store with Conrad on his nametag and I thought that was great. It's not really the euro-thudding name it could be, not like Richard and Aldric and Wilhelm and Sigmund and such ... it's more like Wolfgang and Otto and Leonard and Rayner.Combos with my own favorites...Conrad Francis
Conrad Marshall
Conrad Marcuswith your faves / mine ...Conrad Julian
Conrad Elliot
Conrad Vivianwith yours ...Conrad Emerson, except that might be too author-y
Conrad Timothy
Conrad Wolfram
Ramsay Conrad
