My great-aunt's ex-husband had his last kid at 68. His new wife is 38 years younger. I thought that was gross.

Agreed. Assuming the kid graduates high school at 17/18 years old, he'll be 83/84 years old if he's even still alive. That seems a little sad for that kid who might have to deal with losing an elderly parent while he's still fairly young.
