I'm from Sweden and the names are normally not used here, but I'd say REE-gun and MEG-un. I know a Megan; she's American. Here in Sweden she pronounces her name MEG-un, but in America she pronounces it MAY-gun.

My initial reactions were RAY-gan and MEG-an. I've heard Regan pronounced REE-gan and I've heard Megan pronounced MAY-gan and MAY-gen and MAY-gin but not in this country.
I'm West Mids, England. :)

Regan- I would generally pronounce it RAY-gin, and I've known people by this name who pronounce it this way, but I've also met people who pronounce it REE-gin.Megan- MEH-gin, never MAY-gin.

REE-gin
MEG-inI'm from Canada. I hope those pronunciations make sense...the 'g' is a hard 'g'. "MEG" is pronounced like "meh + g", not MAYG or MEEG.

They rhyme to me, reh-gan and meh-gan. Although it is common around here to hear people say ray-gan and may-gan, also. I live in the midwest United States.

I pronounce Megan Meg-in, and that's pretty much the only pronunciation I've heard. I'm originally from Oklahoma and now live in Delaware.
Not real sure about Regan. I think Ree-gan, because I knew somebody who had it for a last name, but I have the feeling a lot of people prefer it Ray-gan.

Regan would be REEgan and Reagan would, appropriately, be RAYgun.King Lear's middle daughter would likewise be REEgan.Megan is tricky. I always expect MEGan, and therefore also expect people wanting the MEEgan pronunciation to spell it Meagan or Meaghan. But I do know one South African Megan who uses the long EE. (At her wedding, the minister alternated between MEGan and MEEgan, in spite of wild semaphoring gestures from the front pew!)I'm from South Africa, but I'm told I speak British English.
