Pepin
Do you think the boys name Pepin in usable (in England)? What is your opinion on the name? Also, what middle name would you pair it with?
Thank you.

It sounds like a chemical. I think there is an enzyme called pepsin, that's probably what I'm thinking of.

I quite like it. I don't know if it's usable in England though. Where I live (Belgium) it certainly would be, but Pepijn is used more frequent here. Possible middle names:Pepin Jonah
Pepin Isaiah
Pepin August
Pepin Gus
Pepin Arthur
Pepin Amos

Actually, it reminds me of Laura Ingalls Wilder. The reason is because she was born/lived near Pepin, Wisconsin very early in her life. As a name, I think it's too Hobbit-like and precious and twee. Sorry.

I didn't know it was anybody's name till just now.
No, I don't. I think it sounds like an antacid, and also Pep and Peppy would be dumb even for a dog.

It's usable, but Pippin is nicer.
I'd pair it with an honouring name, or a name that's a bit more classic and nicknameable, so he can use that if he doesn't like Pepin or one of it's nns (which would be Pep or Pin):James "Jim" or "Jamie"
William "Will" "Bill" "Billie / Billy" or "Liam"
Alexander / Alexandre / Alexandro / Alessandro etc. "Alex" "Xander" "Sandro" etc.
Andrew "Drew" or "Andy"
Anthony "Tony"
Joseph "Joe" or "Joey"
Charles "Charlie"
Dominic "Dom"
Matthew / Matteo / Mateo / Mattheus / Matthias etc. "Matt" or "Mat"
Christopher "Chris" or "Topher"
Elijah "Eli"
Henry "Harry"
Lucas "Luke"
Marcus "Mark" or "Marc"
Oliver "Ollie"
Ronald "Ron"
