Delilah
I've been thinking about it for the last week and Delilah is hands down my favourite for a baby girl at this stage. No idea for boys. Mn suggestions for Delilah Smith.Only problem I have is I get attached to names I like and I haven't brought any up with my fiancé yet cos I'm super scared he will hate everything I like.

I love Delilah. So much so that I named my Himalayan that 12 years ago, only to regret taking it out of the running for future children.

I like it. I don't love it, but it's pretty without being super frilly. I can't believe how much I prefer it to Lila/Lilah. There's something about the "De" that gives it a whole different vibe, in my opinion. Lila sounds a bit sickeningly sweet, but Delilah is strangely cool and not cutesy. Delilah seems like a hard name to pair with middle names. I'd avoid anything with L's and probably anything that ends with an 'a'. Some random suggestions...Delilah Pearl
Delilah Jade
Delilah June
Delilah Ruby
Delilah Chase (probably my favourite)
Delilah Rae / Ray
Delilah Mae / May
Delilah Bridget

I was actually thinking of Rae/Ray or Mae/May because they are honouring. May honours my partners mums middle name, my nan Mavis and my mum who is born in the month of May.Rae/Ray honours my nans father Raymond and also my partners mothers maiden name of Rayner

I love Delilah. I think it's beautiful.I can't think of any combos, but I just wanted to champion Delilah. :)

I don't mind Delilah at all. I don't love it enough to use it, but it's got a nice sound. I have the same problem, so I try to run names pat my husband early on and then if it's "not-a-no" (which is the best possible initial reaction I will get), then we see if it grows on us.

Delilah has a pretty sound. My only problem with it aside from it being a bit theatrical/soap opera/romance novel, is the song about "Hey There Delilah." Also a really irritating radio "personality" (if you want to call her that) named Delilah. That probably doesn't mean anything outside of the US, so you may just discard that one.

I really don't like Delilah, because of the Biblical Delilah. I personally wouldn't use it for a DD of my own. I also don't like the meaning of the name. Are you sure you wouldn't use just Lila instead? It's so much nicer and sounds more classy to me.

The bible means nothing to me. And meanings aren't overly valued either. I just think its pretty
