Twin for Maysilee
I'm actually writing a short story about The Hunger Games, and I was trying to think of what to name Maysilee's twin sister. It's honestly the last name I have yet to come up with.I was first considering Maribel, but now I think it's too close to another name I chose for another character. I wanted to do a "M" name for the surviving twin.Any thoughts or ideas? Here's some I was looking at:
-Mackenzie
-Madeleine
-Maeve
-Magnolia
-Mallory
-Miriam

Well, since you liked Maribel, and Maysilee and Maribel are both compound names (Maysi+Lee, Mari+Bel), maybe another compound name would do.Meridee
Mirinel
Mollibel(la)
MikilynIf not, I pick Magnolia. I haven't read or seen Hunger Games, but nature names seem like a good fit.

I dunno the character, but I think a twin name would need to be about as goofy as Maysilee. And Hunger Games ... most anything goes. Delving into my very old list of fanciful M names (I do have one)Maridee, Meridette, Meridel
Madelou
Mackedie
MindalenMaevalyn ... twinnierOr there's Marjolaine

I'm going to go on the assumption that Maysilee is a mashup of Maysi (kre8yv for Macy or Maisie) and say the twin should have a similar kind of name.

I think Magnolia is the only one that goes with Maysilee and also sounds like a Hunger Games name.

I agree. But since there are Maeve and Madeleine on the list - how about Maveline?
(That's an obscure French name from the 1600s that I recently discovered)
