Jamison vs Jameson?
Pronounciation wise they're exactly the same so aesthetically, which do you prefer?

Jameson looks better to me, but Jamison makes more sense I think with the pronunciation. With Jameson, I kind of want to say JAMES-on. It's tough, but I think I'd go with Jameson.

Jamison- Jameson is too closely associated with the whiskey.

Like others have said, if you're pronouncing it jay-mih-son then Jamison, and jaymz-son then Jameson. The one Jameson I've met pronounced his name like James + son.

It depends are you pronouncing it jaym-eh-son or jaymz-son? If jaym-eh-son then I'd choose Jamison but if you pronounce it jaymz-son then I'd choose Jameson.

Personally I would pronounce them slightly differently, so it depends how your pronouncing them to which spelling I would go for. If you are emphasising the "i", as in jay-mee-son then I'd go for Jamison, but if you're not, ie: jaymz-son then I'd go with Jameson. :)

Jamison, because it's not a brand of whiskey
