Mary

I love almost all forms of it as well. I especially love Mary, Marie, Maria and Molly. Marie is a family tradition. My middle name is Marie as is several cousins and aunts. My grandmother and my great-aunt (sisters-in-law not sisters) were both named Marie. So I'm sure I'll use Marie for a child someday. I definitely want to use Marie or Mary. Mary doesn't need a nickname and the only one I could think of would be May.
Mary is too plain and overrated.
Marie is nice, but is overrated as a middle name (My mom and a few of my aunts have Marie as a middle name).
Not too big on Maria. It's okay, but I wouldn't really use it on a future daughter.
Miriam is okay. Mariam, however, sounds too strange.
The variants of Mary I like are Molly, Marilyn, Marianne, Myra, Polly, and Maureen.

Mary isn't a name I would use myself, but I like its warmth and quaint charm. Mary is short enough that I don't think that it needs a nickname, but if I had to pick one, it would be May.
I love Marie and Marielle. Miriam has really grown on me as of late. I also like Marina, Mariana, and Marianne. I like Miri as a nickname for Miriam and Mari for Mariana.
