Mary
I love almost every version of Mary. So what do you think of Mary, Marie, Maria, Miriam, Mariam...which are your favourite versions of Mary? Do you have any combos? And would you use any nicknames?
Thanks!

I love Mary. Miriam and Maria are nice as well, but Mary is an all time favorite. As far as nicknames go, I'd only use Molly maybe occasionally, but I'd prefer Mary. Some of my favorite combos:Mary Philomena
Mary Rosalind
Mary Magdalena - family name
Mary Genevieve
Mary Antigone
Mary Aglaia
Mary Helena

I like Mary. I like Miriam, too. Mary Catherine and Mary Christine are my favorites.Mary Grace is another one I know of that isn't too popular where I am but I know a girl named this.Mary Elizabeth is one that's common as hell. I know a little girl named Mary Mason.

I LOVE the name Mary and always have. It's such a timeless and beautiful name. Miriam is also lovely.

I think my faves are Marielle and Marisa. I also like Maria and Miriam. Even Mary if it's paired correctly and both names are used, can be quite nice. Alone I find Mary to be rather dull.

Mary is my grandmother's name and I have been racking my brain trying to come up with a way to honor her besides using Mary. I like Miriam, Marianne, Maribel/Maribelle, and Marielle.

I love plain Mary :)) I think it's gorgeous. Other than that, I like Miriam and Maja.

I love almost all forms of it as well. I especially love Mary, Marie, Maria and Molly. Marie is a family tradition. My middle name is Marie as is several cousins and aunts. My grandmother and my great-aunt (sisters-in-law not sisters) were both named Marie. So I'm sure I'll use Marie for a child someday. I definitely want to use Marie or Mary. Mary doesn't need a nickname and the only one I could think of would be May.

Mary is too plain and overrated.Marie is nice, but is overrated as a middle name (My mom and a few of my aunts have Marie as a middle name). Not too big on Maria. It's okay, but I wouldn't really use it on a future daughter.Miriam is okay. Mariam, however, sounds too strange. The variants of Mary I like are Molly, Marilyn, Marianne, Myra, Polly, and Maureen.

Mary isn't a name I would use myself, but I like its warmth and quaint charm. Mary is short enough that I don't think that it needs a nickname, but if I had to pick one, it would be May.I love Marie and Marielle. Miriam has really grown on me as of late. I also like Marina, Mariana, and Marianne. I like Miri as a nickname for Miriam and Mari for Mariana.

I love Maria and like Marie, Mariah is pretty and so is Marina and Mariana. But Mary I find dull and default-ish.
