Lavinia
WDYT of Lavinia? Is it ripe for a comeback?

I could see it getting more popular. I have a friend with this name and there is a well known weather presenter with this name where I live, but her name is Livinia instead.
I know one person named Lavinia. I'd say she's in her late 40s and the name seems to suit her perfectly. I can't imagine her being anything else. She's down to earth and friendly. I can't say I love it due to the possibility of the nn Vinny. Several elements of Lavinia are popular at the moment so it could always make a comeback, I suppose, but I can't really see that happening.
I absolutely adore Lavinia! I hope not many people catch on to her antique refinement and shimmering beauty.
I fell in love with it when I was little and read Johnny Tremaine. I was dead set on using it when I got older (hopefully for twins so I could call them Lavinia and Leah, o to be 12 again. lol) But now I just find it stuffy and the nickname Vinny kind of silly. I wouldn't mind seeing it on someone else's kid though.
I like Lavinia and the vaguely Victorian vibe it gives me. I don't think it'll ever gain popularity because it's surprisingly obscure, but it does have a lot of sounds present in current popular names.
