Line of succession to the English throne
Line of succession

The list below is limited to the descendants of the sons of George V who are in the line or whose descendants are or can be in the line. Persons shown who are not actually in line to the throne are in italics.

No official, complete, version of the line of succession is currently maintained. Any person's actual position in the line of succession may change as a result of events including births, deaths or marriages of others. For example, any child born to the Duke of Cambridge (listed as second in line) would precede all those now listed after the Duke.

All of these names are quite nice; the only exception would be Savannah. My favorites are Amelia, Eloise, Estella, Eugenie (perfer Eugenia), Cosmia, Henry, Nicholas, Leopold and William.

The sibset of Columbus, Cassius, Eloise and Estella is cool! I also really like Cosima, Gabriella and Flora.

What does the BDW and other letters after the names mean? All the ones near the top of the list are pretty boring, royal-type names. Some of the later ones and younger ones have cool names, like Isla, Cassius, Eloise, Flora, Cosima.

These are codes for the notes used in the Wikipedia article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line_of_succession_to_the_British_throne#Line_of_succession

Ah, that explains it. Thanks, SugarPlum.

My guess for BDW is Born, Died, and Wed, but I'm not sure. eta: Actually, now that I look at it more closely, born, died, and wed may not make sense.
