Megan
I never really cared for Megan, but it has grown on me. I think the nickname Meg is cute and even though I like Margaret I can't use it because of bad personal associations with a Margaret I met a few years ago. I think I prefer it as a middle name as it is quite 80s dated. What do you think of Megan? Has its popularity ruined it somewhat? I also don't like how so many spellings are used. I think Meghan made the top 100 and I've seen Meagan, Meaghan and several others.
How do you pronounce it and where are you from (country)? I pronounce it kind of like MEG-en but I've heard MAY-gen and MEE-gen.

I actually like it and it's never felt excessively popular... more or less just around... meg-ann... though if spelled Meagan, it can also be Mee-gann.
It's my name, so. :) I've never actually liked it much - the popularity did ruin it for me some, definitely. And it gets misspelled quite a bit, even though I have the most common spelling. I get Magen more than you'd think, and I also get it spelled with an H and a Y and all kinds of things. It's a little ridiculous.
I've never liked Meg. There's a handful of people who call me Meg, but they're mostly older relatives. I only have one friend who calls me Meg, but that's kind of a special case.
I pronounce it MAY-gen; I'd say that's the most common pronunciation around here. MEG-en winds up sounding a little clipped, so it kind of naturally gets elongated into the "ay" sound.

For a long time, I really never cared for the name Megan. I just thought it was boring, and didn't have a particularly nice sound. Lately though, it's grown on me and I'm starting to see the appeal. I think the reason why it seemed kind of dull to me before was the popularity. So yes, I'd say the popularity has ruined it somewhat, unfortunately.
I'm from Canada and I've heard all three pronunciations. Most common are MEG-in and MAY-gin (I only know of one MEE-gin). MEG-in and MAY-gin seem almost interchangeable to me...there's not much of a difference between the two if you say them out loud so most of the time, those two pronunciation differences go unnoticed I think. I pronounce it MEG-in.

Megan is the second most popular Welsh name in Wales atm and it's at #29 in the UK chart. I know rather a lot of them, including two close friends and several relations; the oldest Megan I know is pushing 70 and the youngest is a few months old. I think it's a decent, friendly, pleasant name but I'd never use it because it's just too... stereotypical.
Re pronunciation: the name is basically Meg with a Welsh diminutive ending stuck on, so it's pronounced MEG an, or MEG ən. I completely fail to understand how it could be pronounced any other way, unless in some accent people pronounce Meg as MAYG or MEEG.

Megan is one of the very few 80s trendy names I can get behind. I think it's beautiful. I hope it becomes a classic eventually. I think it deserves it. I say MEH-gen. I cannot stand MAY-gen or MEE-gan, especially MAY-gen.
I love Megan. It has a soft but solid feeling to it.
I pronounce it as MAY-gen, and I'm in the U.S. I've never heard any other pronunciation.

I say MEG-en, and I really like it. My daughter is Margaret "Meg" and she gets called Megan sometimes, but I don't mind because it is a nickname for Margaret and I like it enough. :)
I sort of feel like it's dated to the 70s/80s too, but I know a 3 year old Megan and can definitely picture it on a little girl. It feels more youthful in general I think.

I pronounce it MEG-ahn when it's spelt Megan - the conventional way. However I kind of like Maegan, which I would pronounce MAY-gen (though I think this may the American way? Not sure as I'm English living in England.)
I know three Megans, one 18, one 16, one 13/14. It's popularity doesn't really put me off but I think Megan is a little boring, which is why I prefer Maegan.

I think pronunciation depends on region in the US. Everyone I grew up with says MEH-gen.
