No it's not
The traditional Scottish feminine form of James is Jamesina. Jamie may be thought of as a shortened form of Jamesina or a direct feminine form of James, but Jaime certainly isn't.Jaime is the Spanish male form of James, and it's pronounced HIE-me. Some North American parents may also take it from the French phrase j'aime "love" and pronounce it JAY-mee, but j'aime is actually pronounced ZHEM and isn't a name at all amongst French-speakers.Jaime's 100% male to me. If you want it for a girl, spell it Jamie and Jamie only, please.
