I despise Zane. It feels incomplete, reminds me of the word Zany, and does not fit with Liam at all, IMO. I would go with something classic that can have a more contemporary-feeling nickname.

There's a boy band that are quite popular at the moment called One Direction. Three out of the five members are named Liam, Zayn and Louis, so that's what the sib set makes me think of lol. Aside from that association, I think it's a nice name and fits well with Liam.

I find Zane a little out-there, but I don't mind it. Liam and Zana match quite well, I think.
Zane Louis pronounced like Lewis? That works.
If it's like loo-ey, than I'm not so sold.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. My first reaction is that it feels too juvenile and troublemaker-y. But then I associate it with the movie Maverick and thus comedic cowboys, which is fun. I don't think it matches with Liam though, they're quite different styles to me. But I also wouldn't think it was weird if I encountered two brothers by those names.

I've always liked Zane actually. Zane Louis is nice imo. Liam and Zane sound great for brothers.
