Re: Vincent for a girl

As a middle name? Sure--anything goes in that spot. It's especially cool because she went by Vincent, right? (All I know about her I learned sneaking peeks at a book when I was supposed to be shelving stuff.) As a first name, I'd much rather see Vincenza. The sound of Vincenza is amazing. In any case, I think Vinnie or Vince could be very cool on a teenage girl.
I love Edna St. Vincent Millay, but I think I'd use her surname to honor her. I love how Millay sounds, too. :)

And the young people ask, "What are they marching for?"
And I ask myself the same question

I know a little girl named Vanessa who goes by Vinnie. She's only about 7, but it suits her very much. I quite like Vincenza, and I agree with you about Millay. :)
