Leander, Pax, Everly, and Tamsin
Replies
Leander - I dislike it. It reminds me of 'meander'. All I can think is, "If Leander would meander over, you two should talk."
Pax - I like it, clean, crisp, good meaning. Still feminine though, which I can't really get past.
Everly - I like it. It would be cute to honor a Beverly with. I like the name Ever as well.
Tamsin - It's nice. I know it's not the same spelling or much of a similar sound, but it makes me think of tanzanite and Tanzania. That gives it a pretty blue, gemstone look/feel for me.

I want to like Leander and I do to a certain extent but I don't love it, I could see myself being persauded into using it but I dislike the idea of it having the nickname Leon.
Pax just sounds wrong to me, like a nickname that doesn't really work, I'm not even sure what name would have this nn.
Everly is on my list! It grew on me so much that I had to put it on my list and although it's not relatively high up there I still really really like the way it sounds and looks.
Tamsin I've always been conflicted about. Where I like Jasmin, Tamsin has never really appealed to me and recently I met a snobby little girl bearing the name which has done nothing for it's appeal to me.

I like Leander, the others are all weird and trendoid.
Leander- I like it
Pax- I don't like it for a first name but it might make a fun middle name
Everly- I am surprised that I really like this name! Normally I don't like newer names but this one sounds nice. It's like a fresh twist on Beverly (which I also like). It seems slightly funny to me though because I think in my head "happily everly afterly", but I'm probably the only one who thinks that.
Tamsin- it's ok, I'm aware that Tamsin is not all that unusual, but it just sounds odd to me. I think: Jasmine? Tasmin? Tamara?

I like Leander. However, it sounds a bit surnamey to me (it's used as a surname too where I live)
I quite like Pax too, but everytime I hear/see it I think of Angelina Jolie's son
Everly is a bit trendy sounding, but I like that one too. What about Ever instead? It's less trendy sounding to me at least
Tamsin is an old favorite of mine. I've grown a bit tired of it, but it's still a nice name and I would love to see it being used.
