I pronounce it FAY-druh. Can't say I think too much of it. Then again, I recently had a neighbor by the name and she was beyond weird and into conspiracy theories. I prefer it in the middle, definitely. Your combo has a great flow to it.

Phaedra is lovely. I also prefer FAY-dra to FEE-dra.

I think this is a beautiful name. It just sounds lovely, like a song. It makes me think of rivers. I love the connection to Greek mythology too. I don't watch much reality tv, and the only time I've seen this name actually used is in a book called 'Froi of the Exiles' by Melina Marchetta. (It's the sequel to 'Finnikin of the Rock'. They are both sooooo good, and I think the third one's come out now yay!). I liked her character.

I like it as a middle name, I don't think I'd ever use it as a first name. Isobel Phaedra is beautiful! And that's my favourite spelling of Isobel/Isabelle/etc!

FAY-dra is the first thing that comes to mind. I don't think I'd ever pronounce it FEE-dra unless someone corrected me, FAY-dra just makes more sense to me.

I think it's okay. I don't particularly care for it. I like Fay better. Phaedra sounds nicer than it looks. I don't care for the Phae-part or the -dra part (I like the way Fay looks but not Phae and I dislike most names ending in -dra). Still it's a decent name.

Isobel Phaedra is beautiful. I pronounce it the same way you do, "FAY-druh." I wouldn't worry about it getting too popular or too associated with one pop culture character, at least for now.

I love Phaedra and I pronunce it Fay'dra. I think it has a unique elegance but is still a classical name.I like Isobel Phaedra and even Phaedra Isobel.

I say it as 'FAY-dra'. I think it's kind of cool but I like the look of it more than the sound.

I don't think it's a very strong feeling name, and there's something that slightly annoys me about it - but I do find it quite pretty.

The vowel is like the E in Spanish de "of," which does not sound just like the English word "day." But Phaedra does not sound like the word "fed" + ra, either.
I think FEE-dra is okay, but pronounced that way, I like it less.
I dislike it when it's pronounced FAY-dra, like with a strong long-A "ay" sound same as in Kayla.

I love the sounds in the name. But the FAY-dra prn, plus the suicide association that some people apparently have, make it a GP to me.
I think it makes a better first name than middle, though.
I don't like the combination with Isobel.

I don't like it at all, it sounds like something in a nasal spray for allergies or post-nasal drip.
