Olivia
Olivia has really grown on me. Way too common as a first name but I love it as a middle name. Opinions?
I also really like Olive. Do you prefer Olive or Olivia? I think Olivia is prettier but Olive is charming and makes me think of olive trees.
New combo I like: Willow Madeline Olivia. Madeline pronounced as MAD-eh-linn. Opinions?

I prefer Olive.
I was discussing it for some reason with my folks the other day. We came to the conclusion that Olive is very 'ethnic' (oh, the irony) and that, as my mother said, "there are goddamn thousands of Olivias". I mentioned liking Olive and we all agreed it was the better name.
Willow Madeline Olivia is okay. Willow Madeline Olive is better in my view.

One thing I've found lately, is that these pretty-but-way-overused name (like Olivia, Sophia, Emma, Madeline, etc) can have a whole new life breathed into them when they are put in the middle name spot. So yes, I agree that Olivia could make a very good and unexpected middle name.
Personally, I also really love Olive, but they are both nice.
Willow Madeline Olivia is too long for me. I dislike three name combos as a general rule, but especially with this many syllables. Also, this combo has a lot of L sounds and I don't think it flows super well. Plus all three names feels too trendy. I'd prefer a more rare first name paired with Olivia.

Olivia has an elegant, classy sound, but to me it also has a slithery, nylony sound that I don't like. For that reason I think the name is overrated.
It's definitely better than Olive, which is as ugly as homemade sin.
I think Olivia could make a nice middle name. Lauren Olivia comes to mind immediately but I don't know why.
Willow Madeline Olivia is too long, and too frilly, and too many l sounds. Willow Madeline would work better. Willow Olivia is too tongue-twisting.

I agree that it's too common for a first name, but it does sound sweet as a middle name. I prefer Olivia to Olive...I can't get into the name Olive. Maybe because I don't like olives so it doesn't seem like a pleasant association to me.
Willow Madeline Olivia is nice, but it seems like a bit of a mouthful to me. I would suggest Willow Olivia, but too many "l" sounds maybe? Madeline Olivia would sound nice, but now you've got a popular first name. Olivia Madeline is actually really pretty, even though I know you don't want Olivia as a first name.
Tough call, but I'd say stick with Willow Madeline Olivia if it's what you really like.

I agree with pretty much everything you've said, I do like Olivia but it is too common as a first name, quite unexpected in the middle name spot though I think. However the only point I disagree on is Olive - I really dislike Olive - I find it boring, dated, and a little ugly.
Willow Madeline Olivia is nice but I'd prefer just Willow Olivia.

Love the name Olivia, but it is way too popular for me to use right now, too. About eight years ago when I first heard it "resurfacing" I loved it... but like I said way too popular now. I'd consider it as a middle name. I think Olive is cute, too. I would be more inclined to use Olive as a middle name than a stand alone first.
