Gilda
What do you think of Gilda? NN or combo ideas?

It was my favourite for a while. Gilda Susannah was my stock combo (problem is, Gilda Radner's middle name was Susan. I didn't deliberately copy, I swear!)
I think it sounds great and is short enough to go without a middle name. The only problems are the Rita Hayworth movie (I'd hate people to think I named my daughter after that - naming children after 40s Hollywood movies/stars seems pretentious to me), and the meaning "sacrifice" (a virtue I'm not a big fan of).

That's strange, I thought just yesterday that Gilda is a pretty name! So yes, I like it.
Gilda Carlotta would be cute and very "opera-ish". :)
