Milo?
How do you feel about the name Milo? I've had some people tell me they can't get past the "Milo & Otis" reference (which I don't think our kids would even truly know about). Still, there seems to be a soft spot in my heart for the name. Is it too childish? Does it age poorly? What are some middle name suggestions for Milo?

I used this name for one of my characters.
Wasn't sure at first if I would keep the name but after a while I really started to love the name.
The Milo in my book/story has Conrad as his middle name

Where I live, Milo is a well-known brand of chocolate drink powder - just add milk! It's got added vitamins too but not enough to make it suitable for human naming purposes. And whatever Milo & Otis may be, I've never heard of it or them.Miles is fine and gets used occasionally.

I LOVE Milo. I'd love to use it as well. I agree that I don't think future generations will even know what Milo & Otis is so I don't foresee that being a problem. I do think I would make it a little more grown up by using Miles and calling him Milo as a pet form. Miles would look better on a job application or desk name plate.Milo Rowan

I think it's really cute. I might use it as a nickname for Miles, so that it's not so childish and might age better - he could be Milo as a child and Miles as an adult.I have no idea what Milo and Otis is.

I struggle to picture Milo on a child or an adult, it is a character on the popular kids TV programme Tweenies and when I was younger I had a hamster named Milo. I think it does age poorly - but if you like it maybe it could go in the middle name spot.

I recently realized that I love Milo. I like a lot of short boys names with the letter O in it (Noah, Leo, Viggo, Theo etc).

I love it. I think it's rakish and charming, and I like it way better than Miles, which everyone seems to be into these days. Milo Raphael
