1. I pronounce it Em-eh-leen.
2. I've never heard any other pronunciation of it but I wouldn't like any others. According to the comments Emmeline Pankhurst's name was pronounced Em-eh-LINE but I've never heard anyone say it that way.
3. Not too close but obviously similar. Don't know about how dated it will sound in the future. It sounds dated now to me.
