Diane appeals to me, mainly because I associate the name with the moon, and also because I enjoy the long "i" sound. I definitely do see the name as elegant. I also happen to have a positive personal association...a very good-hearted, strong-minded, productive, "100 irons in the fire", charitable individual who, in physical appearance, often reminds me of actress, Jane Fonda. Personally, I prefer Diana over Diane as a first name, but Diane feels classic to me, not dated. Of your combinations, I best like...
Diane Beatrice
Diane Camellia
Diane Clarice
Diane Clarissa
Diane Cleo / Clio
Diane Cordelia - love this
Diane Eleanor / Eleonore / Elinor
Diane Eleonora
Diane Eloisa
Diane Eloise
Diane Eulalia - "moon-speak" :)
Diane Eva
Diane Felicity
Diane Flora
Diane Florence
Diane Genevieve
Diane Georgia
Diane Georgiana - very elegant

Whoa I was just thinking about this name. And about how much I prefer -e ending names to names that end in -a now. They're so refreshing.
I like Diane. It still seems quite dated but it's nice and I like it much better than Diana. I think -e ending names will be back in style in 20 years or so.
I wouldn't pair it with something else that is perceived as dated by many. So no Diane Mabel (even though I love it) etc
Diane Calista is nice. Or something even more modern sounding or something that's perceived as attractive. Diane Melody, Diane Aubrey, Diane Estella, Diane Juliet. Just nothing too dated because I wouldn't like to have two dated names that haven't come back into style, like Doris Mildred or something (I like Mildred, though).
