I really like Claudia, but have always been turned off by its "lame" meaning. I think Americans would tend to think of it as somewhat "exotic," though by no means weird or that unusual, and I especially like that its used in so many different languages. As a matter of personal taste, I attempt to avoid female name derivatives of male names, though there are many good ones, this one among them.
