I hate it by association. >:-( I met the most aggravating Ruslan a couple of summers ago and since it was the only time I've met someone by that name, it's the only impression I have.

Generally speaking, I tend to have a soft spot for Russian names and this one gets my thumbs-up. It's really an unusual name, but I would probably use it as a middle name more than a first name, unless I marry a Russian guy!
