I love Jessamine.
The county next to mine is Jessamine. We pronounce it -min here. When pronounced -mine it just sounds awkward to me.
I don't think Jessamine would be confused with Jasmine. Or, rather, I can't see how it would be. They sound completely different and though they contain the same letters, they are different enough visually that I don't think it would be an issue.
I think Jessamine Rose is pretty. It's not terribly obvious that both of them are flower names. I know for me it doesn't even register that Rose is a flower when I see or hear the name. And Jessamine doesn't seem to be very well known.
Jessie is a rather common nickname. I know about eleven, all Jessicas.
