Sky
Opinions on Sky for a girl? It used to be my favorite and I'm just falling in love with it again. I don't mind Skye and I know it's a place name but still I often think 'misspelled word' when I see it.Sky or Skye?Schuyler nn Sky or just Sky or Skye?Is it too trendy or dated? I don't really get how it could be dated but some people told me so.Summer or Sky, Skye? I like both but can't have them in the same sibset, I guess.

I don't like Sky/Skye. Too trendy. Summer is much nicer.

If you must have Sky and don't like Skylar, then Schuyler nn Sky is alright.
But I prefer Skye. I think Skye has more substance and attitude - Sky seems pretty spaced out to me, pun intended, unless it is a nickname for Skylar or Schuyler. My opinion: Skye > Skylar > Sky > SchuylerI think all forms of Schuyler don't seem fresh anymore, but they were never a big fad in the first place so I don't think they seem dated.Summer and Sky is really the only pairing that doesn't work for siblings IMO.

I quite like Skye. I would spell it Skye because it just looks a bit more complete (which is weird because Sky is a fine word). I don't like Schuyler, because the pronounciation just makes no sense to me. I want to say SHOO-ler rather than SKY-ler. So, I would just have Sky or Skye as the full name.

Maybe some find Sky dated because it can be seen as something of a "hippie" name, and those aren't the height of fashion right now? I don't know. I'm just guessing because I really don't find it dated. I prefer Skye as a standalone, because Sky seems too like "too much word, not enough name" to me, but Schuyler nn Sky would be fine too, and it would give you two names you love. Summer and Schuyler wouldn't work, but I think Summer and Skye are a nice match for sisters, as long as you don't mind a little alliteration. I really prefer the look of "Summer and Skye" over "Summer and Sky," though.

I like Sky, Skye, and Schuyler, not a huge fan of summer. Personally if it was me, Schuyler nn Skye for a girl and Schuyler nn Sky for a boy. Or Sky for a girl. I probably would just use Schuyler anyway, I love that name. Honestly I feel like the -e evens out the name more, especially because Sky is one of those words that looks weird if you stare at it long enough but Sky works too. I get two different images but neither are bad.

Love the name Sky for a girl, always have. I don't mind Skye either, but I much prefer Sky. Not a fan of Schuyler at all, so I would go with just Sky. I don't find it trendy or dated, it seems to just sit in the middle there somewhere! I actually think Summer and Sky would be lovely for sisters! But I'm into those kind of names though!
