Myra
I am thinking Hester and Enid need another sister named Myra. It might need to be Marion Elmira nn Myra. I know British people consider Myra forbidden, but frankly, I don't have that association, nor do I intend to. I think the name is beautiful.
Thoughts on Myra?
I also have a beautiful great-great-great-aunt named Marion Elmira nn Myra who died tragically. I'm not going into the details of her death (it was scandalous, we'll just say), but here is her portrait. My militantly liberal grandmother hangs her portrait above her mantle proudly. I have always liked the idea of using the name Myra.

I kinda like it
It's not taboo where I live, so I think it's fine.

Wonderful photo and lovely name. I'm with Bear, I'd just have to use it. Myra is pretty and I heartily wish it wasn't so taboo here. Someone needs to write a best-selling British book with a nice Myra in it.
How can you resist using Myra? It's a gorgeous name that is ripe for revival. It's a clever nn for Marion Elmira (if you choose). And most importantly it's a family name.
Hester and Enid are fabulous. But given your family history, I'd bump Myra / Marion Elmira to the top of the list. It's funny, because whenever I think of Hester several names also comes to mind and Myra is one of them. It's meant to be. :-)

Your great-great-great aunt was very pretty. :)
I like the name Myra, but it reminds me of Jerry Lee Lewis and his 13 year old cousin bride. Still, it's a pretty, solid name. It would make a good sister for Hester and Enid. Very 19th century.

I love Myra. I live in the United States as well, so it wouldn't be problematic for me to use it. I don't think that many people I know even know about Myra Hindley. I didn't know about her until people on this board mentioned her.
I think that's neat that you have someone in your family tree named Marion Elmira nn Myra. It makes it more meaningful. I wouldn't have thought to get Myra from Marion Elmira, but it works.

I went through primary and secondary school with a Myra! So she's 20ish now. I never used to think of it as an ugly old lady name because she wore it so well. I definitely don't find it as dowdy as I find Enid! I like it, but I also like Maya / Maia and Lyra. I would say it's unusable in the UK but a-ok elsewhere.
Your Myra looks fierce.

Lovely.
I'm from Australia and I'd never heard of the British Myra. I had to look it up. Solely an association for people in Britain, I think.
Tori Amos's real name is Myra Ellen Amos.
