Lucia

Lucia has grown on my lately too. I really like three syllable names ending in -a for girls.
I picture a Lucia as a tall, sophisticated, brunette. Very put together, probably a business woman. I could never name my daughter this because she'd probably be petite, blonde, and scatter brained, lol! Such a gorgeous name though.

I looooove Lucia. I think it sounds nice with Genevieve and Rosemary, it has the same slightly worldly and exotic yet classic and charming flavour as them. In my mind a Lucia could be ANY age.
It seems to me to be a foreign (foreign to me) form of Lucy, and as such, I see no need for it. I usually like long girls' names that end in A, but in the case of Lucia, it would seem to me that I'd be using a foreign form of Lucy, and why would I do that? I love the name Lucy as it is, so why would I use a foreign form? It would also seem that I felt that I had to dress Lucy up, and I see no need to dress Lucy up.
I picture a Lucia to be Italian or Spanish. It doesn't at all fit in with Genevieve and Rosemary, but then, I don't think that sibsets have to "match", anyway.

I don't mind Lucia. I've never met anyone at all with that name, but I'd imagine her to be a young child. Lucia feels like it's almost-trendy. Or maybe off-trendy, is a better description. Like it it close to popular names and trends without being super popular. I think it fits well with Genevieve. In that grouping, Rosemary looks more off to me, but not terribly so.
I know someone named Lucia and I never liked her. She's from Chile but grew up in Sweden. She's born in Saint Lucia's day (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Lucy%27s_Day).
I don't really like the name, partly because of her, but mostly because its not my style at all. I don't think it goes very well with Genevieve and Rosemary...
