Way back when I was a pre-teen and young teenager, I decided that Chad was the only boys' name that I liked and that if I ever had a son, his name would be Chad. When I had to write a short story in eighth grade, I made the name of the cute guy male character Chad. Chad Fordwick, that was his name. LOL.
Back then, Chad seemed "handsome" and "strong" to me, but that changed and I began to see it as a "dumb jock" name. It didn't help that about eight years ago, my daughter knew a really jerky guy, whom I never liked, named Chad.
So I'm curious as to others' impressions. What do you think of Chad?
