Juno
Hi everyone,The name Juno has been on my mind lately and I really like it. What are your opinions? Do you reckon a kid named Juno would get nicknamed Junior at school, even though Junior's a boys' name? I really can't stand the name Junior. I can only seem to picture it on a child or teenager. Do you think Juno would age well?
I've been thinking of combos, and I found out actress Juno Temple's middle name is Violet and now I can't get Juno Violet out of my head. It sounds and looks so lovely! But I also thought of Juno Octavia, which I like too. Here are a few others...Juno Claudia
Juno Eva
Juno Beatrice
Juno Estella
Juno Sylvie
Juno Clara
Juno Aurelia
Juno Viola (this might be my new favourite)
Juno Lucille
Any suggestions? Btw, do you know anyone called Juno? I don't. Thanks.

Although I know full well that Juno is a feminine name, whenever I see the name, I just can't stop thinking that it should be a masculine name instead (because of the -o ending). Before the film of the same name, I had trouble picturing it on a woman at all - and now, all I can think of is the film (rather than the Roman goddess), which is not a very good association (I'm probably one of the few who couldn't really stand the character Juno). As such, as you probably may have already guessed, I would never use this name myself. That said, with regard to the combos you made, I think it is better if you left off the middle names that start with a vowel. You see, it is my personal conviction that if the first name ends in a vowel, the middle name should not start with a vowel. It is easier pronunciation-wise, because otherwise - when said aloud - the two names might kind of sound as one name, instead of two fully separate names (if you see what I mean). But well, that's just me. :)Out of the combos that you mentioned, I liked Juno Lucille best. Here are a few suggestions of my own:Juno Bellatrix
Juno Briseis
Juno Lorelei
Juno Persis
Juno Salvatrix
Juno Winifred

Juno Aurelia is my favorite combo of yours. I do like Juno, and in a way I wish the movie about the pregnant teenager hadn't come out, because I'm afraid that is what the average American would associate that name with. However, lately I have been getting interested in the shorter names with quite a bit of symbolism.I love Juno Violet, and Juno Temple is a good actress. I'm not sure about Juno aging well, but I've only had youthful associations with it, however if you think of the goddess Juno, I think I can see a mother being Juno or an older woman, as well.

I love Juno. She is so upbeat and happy-go-lucky. Why on earth would people call her Junior? That seems ridiculous and unlikely.I think Juno would age better than a lot of the trendy names that are being used now. Although personally I think that the whole "age well" thing is irrelevant. Babies get older and their names follow them. We'll eventually get used to Jaydens that are 56 and Keelys that are 92. Juno Violet is very nice, but I think Juno Beatrice is my favourite from your list.I have never met anyone named Juno.Personally, I also like Junia and Juniper. I would love to use Juniper, nickname Juno if my husband were on board!

I like Juno, I think it is fun and unique without being over the top. I don't know anyone named Juno but I bet they would be pretty cool.
I like Juno Claudia the best.
