I've liked it ever since the first time I played Final Fantasy III when I was like 7. My favorite video game of all time, and while not my favorite character, a fun one. So the name has significance for me because of that. I'm not a huge fan of the color otherwise. I like the sound of it and it seems 100% masculine to me. Possibly because of my strong association with the video game dude. But since it's a color and ends with "anne," I wouldn't be shocked to hear of it on a female either.
