Uurgh. I don't like it. Maybe it's because I am Canadian? Maple is... syrup, butter, fudge, sugar candies, leaves, sap, trees, the Toronto Maple Leafs. So many things but not something I think should be used as a name. It's kind of like naming your child Oak or Pine.
