Eh, I'm not a fan. Pax just doesn't have an attractive sound, imo, though the meaning is great.

I think Pax could go either way: female if you're into mythology, male if you're into tabloids. Brangelina's son has given the name a lot of exposure. If I heard of a baby Pax, I'd guess male.

I like it, but wouldn't use it. And I much prefer it as a girl, since, you know, it's a Roman goddess's name. But I can see how it sounds masculine with the current trends.

I've never liked it, sorry. It just sounds so synthetic and kind of space-age, which are associations/styles I don't get along with when it comes to naming. But I definitely think it's masculine.

I like it in a guilty pleasure kind of way. I enjoy the sound and its meaning of "peace" but I'm not sure I would use it.

Hmm. Boy over girl. But it doesn't feel like a full name to me. Plus the celebrity-ness of it is a deterrent for me. Kinda meh. Feels like it's trying a bit too hard.

I like the meaning but not really the sound and look of it. It's all boy to me. It has a trendy feel to it, probably because of Angelina Jolie's kid.

I used to really like it for a boy but then I heard Pace, which sounds similar but I like it better because in my opinion out of all the words in the dictionary "pace" would be much better as a name than "packs".

I don't like it because it reminds me of the word "packs" with a gimmick spelling. Not a very namey image. And it reminds me of "Pax Romana" and "Pax Americana" - also not positive. And it just sounds slick and glib, what with the trend for -x endings.

For a boy I think it's kind of neat. All Latin-y and such. But sound-wise it seems pretty modern, which is a slight turn off for me. I wouldn't be surprised to see it on some celebrity kid. As long as the middle name wasn't Romana? :)
