Does Silvester relate to New Year's, or is he my New Year's present? Either way, it's a lovely thought. :-)
Silvestra is a GP of mine and Silvester is definitely more doable. So big thumbs up for Silvester, that silver tongued devil. Darn that cartoon cat for ruining the name for at least one generation, maybe two. I'd love to meet a young Silvester one day.

December 31st is the name day for Silvester and the day is called 'Silvestrovo' here (I assume it's the same for Czech Rep.).
