I like both. Alison is a little more mature and practical, but it's also a little more dated. Alice has a sweeter sound, and it's more Alice-in-Wonderland. I don't think I'd use either-- I'd be afraid of the datnedness and common-ness of Alison (although really Alison is fine; Allison and Allyson are the dated ones) and I wouldn't really want to use such a sweet little-girly name like Alice IRL. I think I might slightly prefer Alice in theory though.
