Totally awesome. I think any "old-man" name is completely adorable on a baby/little boy. I've really started liking Albert more lately, too. It's such an honest and friendly and kind name, and it has a little bit of a Christmas-y feel to it.

I dislike Bertie, and Albie isn't that great, either. I would use Al for a nn, but generally no nn at all.
