Louis
Feel free to answer any of the questions...no pressure to answer them all haha :)1. WDYTO the name Louis (LOO-ee)?
2. Do you think it's dated?
3. Do you think, in a predominantly English-speaking area, it would too often be pronounced LOO-iss?
4. Any middle name suggestions? Thanks in advance :)ETA: I realize the French pronunciation is loo-EE, but I prefer LOO-ee. Do you think that would cause a problem? Lewie and other variants are out of the question.

1. I really like it!
2. No, I don't think it's dated. Actually, I think it's up-and-coming.
3. Depends on your area. In my part of the U.S., I think yes, for sure, you'd hear LOO-iss all the time. On the plus side, if you're in the U.S. and willing to correct people, I think people will adapt to LOO-ee easier than they would to loo-EE.
4. Sebastien, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Paul, Matthias

Love Louis, dont think its dated at all, would probably be mispronounced but here are some combos you might like. These are all actual compound French names not ones I came up with. I cut and paste so thats why theyre in all caps, and I didnt delete all the "masc" so you can ignore that. * = I like

1. I like it, but I wouldn't use it.
2. Lou is definitely too dated. I don't think Louis is though (depending on where you live, of course).
3. Probably. It would be where I live.

Auberon, Artur, Andres, Morgan, Micah, Malachy, Malachi, Dorian, Draven, Eric, Harper, William, Guillaume, Gwynfor, Bedwyr, Pascal, PhilippeOn LOO-ee instead of loo-EE: I think it could work, but many people might think it's Louie. You could also use Louis "Louie", but that's not really the same...
