I like Silvius better. With Silvanus, I would always say "Sil-wan-us", the Latin way. That would frustrate the person if it was pronounced with a V instead of a W and it's a little frustrating for me, too. For some reason, this doesn't happen with Silvius.
Unless you mean for it to be pronounced Silwanus. In that case, I choose Silvanus.
