Of the boys, I like Elhadin (a lot!), Oumar, Nasim, and Lydéric.
Of the girls, I like Salomé, Edline, Andreia, Leyina. I know a little Cassandre, it's charming.
Minou is such a great nn--it's often used for cats, actually. Ange is very sweet--a sad name for a dead baby, though.
Louisette is sweet. I think I'm going to add it to a list of names I keep that could honor my (French) grandma Lou.
I love seeing all the old-fashioned French names in the obituaries. I can't really pick out which I like more than any others.

I love Yvette as a mn and also like Dominique and Jacqueline - but it appears they are currently out of favour. The births list seems to be influenced by foreign tastes (maybe by immgrants) - Elena, Shauna and Nasim, for instance, but I much admire French names. As Cyprien and Florent remind us, they go way beyond Pierre and Louise!
