Chase
What do you think of Chase on a boy? It has really grown on me. Do you find it too common or trendy? Do you know any? I also like the spelling Chace. I think I might even like it better, it makes me think of ice for some reason. Would Chace be too confusing? Oh I also like it for a girl but more for a boy.

I think the biggest problem with the name is that no matter when MN you choose, it's going to sound like a command to run after somone/something: Chase Christopher. Chase William. Chase Jet. Chase Walker. Chase Hunter. You get the point.
I think it sounds kind of nice but is a bit too trendy. I can't see anyone older than 30 named Chase. My own impression aside, it's still a usable name. Someday all the Kaylees and Alfies and Jaydens will be 30 anyway. One thing, though. If you use it, PLEASE use it on a boy.

The first thing that I think of when I see Chase is that it's a verb. It makes any combination more of a phrase: Chase Michael becomes, "Run, run! Chase Michael!" I have other names that I love that could fall into that category too, like Piers ("pierce") and Marius ("marry us"). But I have other associations that save them. Plus, they don't have the following down-side.
The other aspect of Chase that I don't like is that it makes me think of the Chase Manhattan Bank (or JPMorgan Chase). Any name that so obviously reminds me of money I find tacky, sorry. Again, other positive references I have for Morgan save it from this fate. But I just haven't any for Chase so he's not my cup of tea. Sorry. :-/

I like it. It's pretty common, and I'd probably classify it as at least slightly "modern", but I wouldn't say it's trendy. I know at least three, plus one girl Chase. I don't really like Chace-- I can see the appeal but Chase is an actual word, so I think I just prefer this spelling for that reason. Also, Chace reminds me of Chance and it also looks like Chance when I glance at it quickly.
I like the name alot. i know a Chase and he is really nice. i like the spelling Chace better though...
I like Chase for a boy - but definitely not for a girl. I don't think it's common at all (I know one, who is about 16), but I live in the UK and it may well be more popular elsewhere.
I don't like the spelling Chace at all. I think it would be a bit confusing because the name is pronounced like the word "chase" so it doesn't really make sense to spell it differently to the word.

I have a big soft spot for the name Chase and the name Chace, but only for a boy. It is pretty trendy right now, but I still love it. I know two boys named Chase. In case you're interested, one of them has two sisters: Brittany and Chrissy. I'm not particularly close with that Chase though. I'm closer with the other Chase, and he's such a sweetheart. I think the association is what makes me love this name!
I also don't mind Chace. It was the name of José Théodore's (an NHL goalie's) late son, who died from respiratory complications related to premature birth when he was just two months old.

Chase only...but it's a word-name, and therefore I don't like it. It also makes me think of a dog for some reason... like fetch (how they dog will chase the ball or frisbee)
