A girl I went to highschool with has had her 5th baby (and first daughter after 4 boys) Chasey Jane. She joins older brothers Ethan,10, Kaleb,9 and Hunter and Blade, 6.

I like a lot of names that scream plebeian, but to me, Chasey screams it in a sort of cheapo way that makes me squirm. I don't like it. Chasey Lain is not helping, either, now that I've heard of her. I guess there are a lot of worse names... it's not like a 0/10 ... but it's not as good as, say, Macyn. I even think Ryan is a better name for a girl than Chasey.

Blade ... haha. I consider myself pretty liberal about names like this, but Blade, for heavensake. Now, some guys could pull it off... so it's not that near to the bottom of my barrel either. Cohen and Kooper are worse.

I think the others are alright. Seems like her name judgment has gone downhill over time.

I like Chasey, but I'd definitely prefer it as a nickname and not as full name! Jane is nice.
I like Ethan. I only like Kaleb spelled Caleb, and I don't like Hunter or Blade (although Blade would be cute on a gildfish or something).

Is it supposed to be pronounced like Casey, or is it pronounced like I think it is-CHASE-Y?

Ethan is nice, Kaleb is okay, though I don't like the unnecessary K, and Hunter and Blade together are very violent. Chasey is cute, but will seem immature in just a few years.

Oh, boy. I suppose Chasey Jane is cute. Unfortunately, it rhymes with Chasey Lain, a name that reminds me of this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If9fC9aJd-U. I like Ethan and Kaleb though.

I feel like I shouldn't like Chasey, but I kinda do. She'll be mistaken for either Casey or Chase pretty often, but it's not a bad name all around. Totally cute paired with Jane. Too bad the name will never mature beyond 9 years old...
