Faye vs. Feya
I am nine months PG and trying to find "the one." My husband likes Faye but a two syllable name sounds best with our last name. What about Feya? Jane is also on the list but I worry it may be too plain and again only one syllable. Thoughts?

Fea is Spanish for ugly, so Faye all the way. Fayette is a name in my tree. WOuld that work better?
Faye 100%
I like Faye and Freya. I would NOT use Feya because it sounds exactly the same as fea, which is the word for UGLY in Spanish.
I do not personally care for Jane.

Faye is OK, although I too find it a little too short. Feya looks a little strange to me, but it's OK as well. Have you considered Freya? It's similar for Feya but looks a little more complete to me.
I like Faye. Has a very noble, airy sound to it. It's more of a middle name though.
Feya looks as like Freya with the "r" missing. Btw I like Freya, too.
Jane would be a little too boring for me. A few suggestions (I tried to stick with Jane-related ones):
Hanna Faye
Janna Faye
Jenna Faye
Joana Fay
Joanne Fay
Johanna Fay
Johnna Fay

I personally prefer Freya and I think Freya Jane would make a great combo. That way you can use both names.
Freya Jane?
Oh, I love Jane. She may be a little plain but she's SOO classic and you can create plenty of elegant combos. Plus I've never met/heard of a little Jane before. I'm less keen of Faye because I can't decide if she's mystical and elegant or ditzy. Feya is alright. Similar in sound to Freya, with I like.
I like Feya the best. I think Jane is kind of plain, and Faye seems dowdy to me. Feya is like Freya, only less likely to become trendy.
Ooh, Feya is great! I've actually never seen it before, but I love it. I like Fae and Fey, sort of Faye (I like the sound at any rate) but I definitely like Feya a lot better. It keeps the feel, loses any possinle dated-ness, and adds a needed syllable. Feya Jane would be a good combo (unless you already have a middle name picked out). I don't think Jane is too plain, but I do like Feya better. She can always be Faye or Fey for short.
I like Faye a lot better. What about using a longer name and Faye as a nickname? Felicia or Felicity?
I just found this one: Faina. It means shining, which is quite lovely.

I prefer Faye to Feya. Feya reminds me of "heya."
I like the idea of using Faina. There's also Freya.
