When I hear the name, I immediately think of Kirk Cameron (Growing Pains back in the 80s and then a few more recent movies) and Captain Kirk (Star Trek). Can't really recall meeting any. It's an ok name. It would be refreshing in that it's not overused and not way out there at the same time.
