My name is Leslie, I live in the Cleveland, Ohio area. I've been doing polls but I'm new to the message boards. I'm 38,married to Patrick, have a son named Scott and a daughter named Delaney. I just resumed my fertility drugs (Clomid and Progesterone-your basic fertility treatment) and am anxiouly awaiting a positive pregnancy test. My doctor always says it will be twins because of the Clomid-but I always end up with one (beggars can't be choosy!)

Out of curiosity, what are the side effects of the Clomid/Progesterone treatment? When I told my doc that we would be ttc in the next year or so, he said that is an option.
With my luck I WOULD end up with twins and that would make 7! (6 living)... oooh that might be kind of fun :o)

Well, I got pregnant with my son within three months but it took eight with my daughter. They don't like you to be on Clomid for more than 6 months-it actually overstimulates your ovaries and they can basically-well-blow up. Mine didn't blow up but I now have HUGE cysts. He put me on that because I kept having miscarriages (sorry-don't mean to gross anybody out). Yeah-my husband always says it would be so cool to have twins and I think-yeah-I'll have a 4 year old a two year old and twins--that'll be fun.
