WDYT of Travis?
The name Travis has been on my mind lately. I'm not sure if I love it yet though. I don't usually like to use surnames as first names. Anyway, WDYT?
Also, I've been trying to beef up my list of boy names (at times, I have 80 girl names and maybe 10 boy names, lol). Other than Travis, I like Caleb, Reuben, Theodore, Edmond, Jack, and Luca. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance! :)

Travis is a name that's gone down in the world. When it was highly uncommon, it seems to have been chosen by prosperous, successful people who tended to have similar sons. But now it's firmly working class and ubiquitous! My husband's family contains two little brothers, Travis and Kieron: we await developments.
I dislike Caleb; prefer Robin to Reuben; don't mind Theodore at all; prefer Edmund to the Frenchified Edmond; love Jack as a nn for John; and dislike Luca, Lucas and Luke about equally.

I like the ruggedness of Travis, and the fact it doesn't feel contemporary.
I never even think of it as a surname. I really like it and it isn't used much.
I think it's adorable. I'm not sure why it's not on my PNL. I know it used to be but something made be delete it. Anyway, I like it a lot though I would never use it myself. There's a nice cowboyish feel to it that I like. Kind of macho without trying too hard.
