Talitha
Really starting to like Talitha. Anyone else?

I love Talitha, pronounced (TAL-ith-ah). I'd consider using it for a daughter. It's just so beautiful and has a nice meaning too. Also, the nickname Tally is so cute.
I want to like Talitha but I only hear 'lethal.' Still, there's something about it that fascinates me. It's so pretty written down.
ETA that I've only heard it pronounced with the emphasis on the middle syllable (long e sound). If stressed on the first (as in Tabitha), that would be nice. I'm just not sure anyone around here would get that (VA). Everyone I've known with the name (granted, they were few) pronounced it the first way I mentioned.

Yep - so gently feminist! My only concern would be the likelihood of confusion with Tabitha, but that's not the worst thing that could happen.
I assume that you'd be saying it like Tabitha with an L? Where I live it's TAAH li tah, but it's mostly used by Afrikaans speakers.

I love Talitha! It is similar to Tabitha, but even less common. My aunt's grandfather had had a late wife by that name and he named a 260 ft ship after her. I hadn't really heard the name before that, but it has really grown on me in the years since.
I like it too. It has a nice feel to it imo.
Talitha was my favorite girls name as a teen and I still like it. Thumbs up!
