When I was up in Tohoku last week, there were lots of sunflowers scattered around and it was a nice bright cheery feel of hope that they bring among the rubble of their posts-tsunami surroundings. Once knew a couple w/ a little girl named Himawari (Jpns. for sunflower) and somehow making a combo with the meaning of
Hope in there with Himawari, but without the alliteration that comes at the beginning with
Hope or the end w/ Nozomi, so what came to mind was Esperance or
Esperanza. There are so many up there still in need of hope that the concept of hope in the Tohoku that something w/ a ray of hope for Tohoku seemed appropriate to put together.
Which do you think sounds better, Himawari Esperance or Himawari
Esperanza?
Now that it's got me thinking, after my Tohoku
Sakura poem, maybe
Sakura Hope would also be a good combo.
