Re: Please help me to find an English name~
in reply to a message by Xuan
Don't change your name! :( It's so much prettier than any common English names. I looked up your name in the database and it lists it as Vietnamese right? Is it pronounce shoo-an? Maybe you can find a name that sounds close to your name now, based on the pronunciation. This way you won't have a completely different new name and it will be easier to read, yet still contain similar sounds.

Thanks. lol. Xuan means jade. It indeed pronounces like shoo-an! My ELS teacher also suggested me to find a similar one. It's not easy. When we practice how to pronounce "hard to remember" names in English class, the professor always use mine as example. :(

Hard to remember!?!I wouldn't ever forget meeting someone with your name or an odd name! Haha, maybe it's just me...maybe it's because I have yet to meet someone with my name. But if I met an Elizabeth or a Lindsay opposed to you, I'd forget who they were and mix them up because their names would stain my mind as popular, not rare and exotic.
