I know Joshua is really popular, but I still love it. Christian is OK but I can't imagine it on a small kid.

I prefer Chris as a nn to the harsh, drowning sound of Josh. But both of these names seem to lock a child into a religious position that he might or might not endorse once he's old enough to decide.

I prefer Christian, but like both. Christian is slightly more elegant.

Christian by a mile. It's so handsome! I've never liked Joshua, the look or the sound.

I prefer Christian. I've never been too keen on the way Joshua sounds plus it's more overused than Christian.

Christian. Joshua has always seemed soggy and sloppy to me.

I much prefer Christian. I LOVE the name! Being a Christian myself, I love it's meaning. It's soft but masculine and to me timeless. Handsome name.

I prefer Christian. It's very gentle and kind and sandy, which is neat, and it feels more fresh and interesting than Joshua.
