I just saw on Facebook that a friend of a friend gave birth to a son recently. His name is Silas Emerson. Emerson is the middle name. WDYT? I love Silas. Emerson might be honoring so that's cool.

I adore Silas, and I like Emerson too. The combo is a bit "S" heavy, but it still works well.

I love Silas. All I'm thinking about Emerson is "at least it's not on a girl". But the combo is nice.

I really like it. It lisps a bit, but both names are good and handsome in the same way. It's a very warm name to me, partly because Silas is yellow and Emerson is orange. I envision a confident, polite and good-natured man.
