St. Cloud is not "saint Clowd" but "sahn cloode" to me. In France, I believe that Cloud is a lot closer to a diverse spelling of Claude than to being like those fluffy things in the sky. Ciel is a name that always reminds me of clouds, probably because there is a boutique in my city called Bleu Comme Le Ciel which has some whispy clouds on it's sign. A celebrity (I forget whom) named thre daughter Ciel and I think it's rather interesting and pretty.

Ciel is very pretty. I'm pronounce it like see-ehl in my head, but I'm sure that's wrong. How do you pronounce it?

Ciel means "sky" in French. That would certainly explain it. :)
